The connections changed in a commit: one event per commit whose connections differ from the
previous commit's, whatever changed them (`attach`, `detach`, [`setSceneModel`](Writer.setSceneModel.md), [`applyPatch`](Writer.applyPatch.md),
undo, redo, a restore, a reload, or a stale connection removed, spec section 6.12, A6 and
A10); `cause.kind` tells which. A commit that leaves them equal fires nothing, also one that
re-attaches the same chain. `connections` is the whole list after the commit.
