ts
label: string;

The button's accessible name. Text only, never HTML. Rendered in a badge-label part that is visually hidden by default (clipped, never display: none), so an icon badge drawn through ::part(<stylePart>) keeps its look; style ::part(badge-label) to show the text. Name the action, the side and the module: two badges of one module never share a label.

Generic-API test (spec 3.1)

Rule Result
1. Neutral name pass: label names no product
2. A precedent pass (through its owner HotspotBadge): Babylon.js SpriteManager (row K50); model-viewer (ar, camera-orbit, auto-rotate) (row K50)
3. Two apps, or labs pass (through its owner HotspotBadge): 3 apps (ledger: app-ddfb017681, app-fc07850558, app-fc306ec3dc)
4. The cheaper fix first decided per need in Appendix B: rows K50 (through its owner HotspotBadge) at tier stable (a member only where no rule, data, asset or app code serves the need)
