Property of [`PartWriteOptions`](PartWriteOptions.md) · stable · since 2.0.0

```ts
durationMs?: number;
```

Pose tween, ms. It runs under reduced motion too: it is the app's motion (spec section 6.2). The Promise resolves when it ends; through a `tx`, 'staged' at once, and the tween starts when the commit is shown. It starts from the pose drawn in the last frame before the commit is shown or, when a write to the same rule with no tween committed after that frame (in the same task too, as [`Camera.lens`](Camera.lens.md) eases from a 0 ms lens), from that write's pose; a part with neither (one the same commit loads) appears at its target. A newer write to the same rule takes the pose over from the drawn value and resolves this one (spec section 6.3); one that writes this tween's own target pose leaves it running.

**Default:** 0

## Generic-API test (spec 3.1)

| Rule | Result |
| --- | --- |
| 1. Neutral name | pass: `durationMs` names no product |
| 2. A precedent | not recorded: no ledger row (coverage.json) names this member or its owner |
| 3. Two apps, or labs | not recorded: no ledger row names this member or its owner |
| 4. The cheaper fix first | not recorded per member (Appendix B decides it per need) |
