assets?: Readonly<Record<string, {
load?: {
ms?: number;
fail?: boolean;
};
}>>;
Images other than GLBs, keyed by URL as written, before assetBaseUrl: a TextureSpec's
url or optimizedUrl, a map slot's bare URL string (loaded exactly like { url }), a
stored MaterialNode's map (loaded when select() or the scene model wears that node),
StageSettings.environment.url, a background panorama's url.
A URL with no entry decodes after decodeMs. An entry with load.fail fails as that URL's
fetch or decode would, load.ms after its request (as a models entry's failure), once per
request: each slot that names it records its own
'asset-failed' (url as written, asset 'texture' or 'environment', and op): a stored
MaterialNode's map names that MaterialNode in node, a collection item's or a stage layer's
carries its path, and a rule, materials.create or apply texture carries neither: match it
by op, as on the runtime. Spec section 6.4's texture row applies, its failure window included. A detail map whose
load.ms runs past its write's commit point lands, or fails, late without delaying the
colour maps (spec section 6.6, rule 7).

| Rule | Result |
|---|---|
| 1. Neutral name | pass: assets names no product |
| 2. A precedent | not recorded: no ledger row (coverage.json) names this member or its owner |
| 3. Two apps, or labs | not recorded: no ledger row names this member or its owner |
| 4. The cheaper fix first | not recorded per member (Appendix B decides it per need) |
